1. Pricing and payments
When you make a purchase, you have to be clearly informed about the total price of the goods or services inclusive of all taxes and additional charges.
Charges for additional services
You must give your consent to any additional payment requested by RoboCleaners, for example express delivery or gift wrapping.
2. Guarantees and returns
RoboCleaners must repair, replace, reduce the price or give you a refund if goods you bought turn out to be faulty or do not look or work as advertised.
You have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days, for any reason and with no justification.
Guarantees for faulty goods
- Two years warranty on all goods (legal warranty)
All electrical and electronic items we offer enjoy a two-year warranty. If more extensive guarantees are granted for certain articles, these will be mentioned in the description accompanying the article in question.
2. This warranty includes repair or complete replacement of the defective item. Repair or replacement shall be at our discretion.
3. Do you need an invoice for warranty?
No. If you cannot provide any document showing when you bought something, you cannot get a warranty for it. So: make sure you bring a receipt, invoice, stamp or other proof of purchase.
4. Your warranty is void in the event of damage as a result of incorrect use or negligent maintenance, improper use, (over)heating by heating sources or exposing an item to humidity, extreme heat, cold or drought, if the article has been repaired or acted upon by unauthorized persons or if the items have been used for purposes other than those for which they were delivered or damage resulting from external mischief such as fire, lightning strikes, natural disasters etc. Excluded from warranty are also parts that need to be repaired or replaced due to normal wear and tear.
5. For out-of-warranty repair requests, please contact us in advance.
6. We are not liable for damage suffered by you or a third party through the use of an item delivered by us, unless the damage was caused by our intent or gross negligence. Nor are direct or indirect costs or damage caused by an item out of use eligible for compensation, unless caused by our intent or gross negligence.
7. Attention: If it concerns second-hand goods, the warranty is the legal minimum term of one year.
You might not be entitled to a refund if the problem is minor, such as a scratch.
- How to get goods repaired, replaced or refunded
The 2-year guarantee period starts as soon as you receive your goods.
Cancel and return your order
- 14 days to cancel and return purchases made outside shops (online, by phone or mail order)
This measure applies only to internet sales to consumers. This provision therefore does not apply to any natural person in the course of his commercial, industrial, craft or professional activity, nor to legal persons.
You have the right to return these purchases within 14 days for a full refund. You can do so for any reason – even if you simply changed your mind.
- How to cancel a purchase?
The "cooling off" period expires 14 days after the day you received your goods. For service contracts, the "cooling off" period expires 14 days after the day you concluded the contract. If the cooling off period expires on a non-working day, your deadline is extended till the next working day.
You must inform RoboCleaners of your decision to cancel the purchase. It is not enough to just send the goods back. You must inform RoboCleaners of this via our contact form "Contact us" , via the chat box, via a ticket or this FOD Economie withdrawal form.
You must send the goods back within 14 days of informing RoboCleaners.
RoboCleaners must give you a refund within 14 days from receipt of your cancellation, but can delay refunding you if they have not received the goods or evidence that you have returned.
This refund must include any shipping charges you paid when you made your purchase unless you specifically requested non-standard (express) delivery.
The customer has to pay the costs of returning the goods. Products must be returned, as far as possible, in their original packaging, with all accessories provided, and in their original condition.
The customer is responsible for the depreciation of the products resulting from handling other than those necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and proper functioning of these products. The customer is also obliged to respect the products and handle them with care.

The reception is open from Monday to Friday from 8.30h to 17.30h in case the client wants to hand over the goods him/herself.
3. Shipping and delivery
RoboCleaners should deliver it to you within 30 days – unless you specifically agreed on a different delivery time.
Delivery costs
You must always be clearly informed of the total price for your purchase, including delivery and other related costs.
Different prices for delivering items to foreign countries can be justified.

You must give your explicit consent to any additional costs, for example if RoboCleaners wishes to offer you express delivery, or gift wrapping.
Damaged goods
RoboCleaners is responsible for any damage to the goods from the time of dispatch until you receive them.
If an item you bought turns out to be faulty or doesn't look or work as advertised you are entitled to ask for it to be repaired, replaced or, where neither is possible, a refund. Find out more on guarantees.
Missing delivery
If you don't receive the goods within 30 days, or within the mutually agreed period, you must remind RoboCleaners giving an additional, reasonable time limit to deliver. For example, if the trader has informed you that delivery is delayed by a week because of problems with his suppliers you should consider giving him an extra week.
If RoboCleaners still does not deliver within the extended deadline you're entitled to terminate the contract and be reimbursed as soon as possible.
4. Complaints or disputes
All disputes will be governed by Belgian law. Unless otherwise stipulated by law, the Brussels Justice of the Peace (Dutch-speaking chamber) and the courts of the Brussels district are competent to hear disputes.
